There are 2 pairs on nests about 20-30 feet apart, in adjacent trees, right above the creek. If you head east along Sligo Creek Pkwy from Rt 29, park in the lot by the tennis courts, about a block west of Piney Branch Rd. Walk east along the paved trail to the bridge over the creek. Stop on the bridge and look up to the right (facing the bridge) or west. The nests are perhaps 50 feet away, about 25-30 feet up in the trees, between the bridge and the playground. Good photos might be had with a digital camera and scope (which I didn't bring with me). All 4 birds were at the nests when I visited, about 9 AM.
