This is a combination bird walk and wildflower walk. The wildflower trail that goes south from the parking lot explodes with early wildflowers at this time of year, possibilities are Dutchman's Breeches, Trillium, Virginia Bluebells, Trout Lily, etc. Birds sighted should encompass early spring migrants, as well as gulls, terns and ducks out on the river. Ospreys and eagles should be plentiful. Meeting Place: Conowingo Dam, Fisherman's Park, please park at the south end. Time: 8:00 am. Suggested equipment: appropriate inclement weather clothes, boots (it may be muddy), spotting scope for the river. Conveniences: in the parking lot. Admission: None. Questions: call Ken at 410-658-9955 or email him at kdrier@zoominternet.net Parke. ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
