McDonald" Subject: Towson Area MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Cromwell Valley, 4-16 Along with the usual suspects: a pair of blue-gray gnatcatchers furiously attacking a carolina wren who chose to perform his song high in the tree top While watching the gnatcatchers/wren, an unusual croak overhead: three great blue herons flying north & low over the park. I have yet to see a gbh on the ground at Cromwell, just a very occasional evening flyover. Green herons do feed at the end of the stream near its junction with the Gunpowder.
