This morning it was putting on quite a show, bringing a = smile to our faces. House Sparrows are gathering nesting material and = flying to a nearby house. This morning's female Eastern Towhee was only = the third of that species I've seen or heard in our yard during our four = year residency. =20 Last night I saw Saturn's rings through my Leica scope. The crescent = moon was not too far above the planet, and higher in the sky was Jupiter = with 4 moons showing through the scope (and two through binoculars). I = rarely look through my scope at the sky--I should do it more often as = the rings were in about a 2/3 or 3/4 view and lovely. My neighbors were = entranced to see the moon and Saturn. This morning when I was up after = 4 am I went outside and finally managed to find the comet (Ikeya-Zhang) = in/near the constellation Cepheus in the northeast sky (zzzz). It took = me some minutes to find it; I could just make out the tail through my = telescope. =20 Planets at = http://skyandtelescope.com/observing/objects/planets/article_572_1.asp Comet at = http://skyandtelescope.com/observing/objects/comets/article_477_1.asp Two Red Admirals (butterflies) flitted through the yard on Saturday = afternoon. =20 Rob Hilton rhilton@csa.com Silver Spring, Md. =20 =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D =========================================================================
