A falcon in distress can be very loud, as loud as a parrot and more piercing to the ears. Owls can also be very loud at times. While vultures are relatively quiet, they do make noise and it can be somewhat noisy. By frequency of noise making they are very quiet birds, but can obtain a good level of volume if they find the urge to sound off.
