It is = in full breeding plumage. It was in a storm water management pond that = is known to have fish in it. Also there were several Mallard drakes, = hens and ducklings(very cute) and one pair of Canada Geese. This pond = is located off of Andover Road on the BWI Trail. If you access the = trail from the Benson Hammond House and head across Aviation Blvd, = follow the trail and enter the woods (parallel to Andover Road), = continure along the trail and when you exit the woods, the pond is on = your left. Also while on the BWI Trail behind the Thomas A. Dixon Junior Aircraft = Observation Lot, near the 24.5 mile marker, I was able to see a single = Pine Warbler, signing its heart out in a stand of Virginia Pines. It = and several others(which I did not see) were calling for back and forth. If you would like directions to the birding spots that I have found to = be pretty good at BWI , please drop me an email and I will be happy to = tell you or you may call me at work at (410) 222-6244.
