The bird could not ingest the sunflower seeds. It remained in the yard for about 3 days and disappeared (presumably died). Today, he reports another dove in the yard with the same lethargic behavior (won't fly off when approached and difficulty eating seed) but can't confirm swollen tongue. Any ideas out there would be appreciated.
