Before leaving home we had a Summer Tanager singing which was new for us for the year. After reaching her block we had Hooded Warbler and Black-throated Blue Warbler also both new for us. We also heard Great Crested Flycatcher, many Northern Parula, Prairie Warbler, Black-and-white, Yellow-rumped, Palm, Pine and Common Yellowthroat. A landowner we spoke to heard his first Chuck-will's-widow last evening. We have not heard one yet. And last evening a male Indigo Bunting was at my feeder to complement the Blue Grosbeak from earlier in the day.
