Scott, I've always been a fan of Elliot's (even though his voice reminds me somewhat annoyingly of that childrens' tv show host, Mr. Rogers). Indeed, the Eastern version of the Stokes guide to bird songs was done by Lang Elliot and I think it's one of the finest birdsong tapes/cds I've ever heard. He has quite an array of tapes/cds available now in addition to the Stokes and the Know Your Bird Sounds series. All of his stuff is really well done and they always attempt to document the full range of vocalizations of the birds (or herps, etc.) that he goes after. Highly recommended!!!
