Best bird was a beautiful Yellow-throated Warbler that landed about 20 ft in front of me at eye level, munched a big bug, and took off with nesting material. Other birds seen: Black-crowned Night-herons Canada Goose (with 5 goslings) Red-shouldered Hawk (carrying food) Spotted Sandpiper Chimney Swifts Pileated Woodpecker Eastern Phoebe Eastern Kingbird (with nesting material) Warbling Vireo Northern Rough-winged Swallow (checking out cracks in the Canal Rd. wall) Barn Swallow Northern Parula Yellow Warbler Prothonotary Warbler Common Yellowthroat John Hubbell Chevy Chase, MD ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
