I don't think I saw everything that the whole group took in but I did see-- Indigo Bunting Black and White Warbler Blue-Winged Warbler Yellow Rumped Warbler Palm Warbler (I heard someone call out Chestnut-Sided Warbler) Blue-Gray Gnatcatchers After leaving the Ridge I went down to the Edgewood Stable area to look for the Yellow Crowned Night Herons. No luck. The fish are still around but they don't seem to be as abundant as a few weeks ago, so I suspect my YCNH have moved on to better fishing. But, I am happy to report that we now have Wood Duck chicks to report for the Atlas. I startled momma Wood Duck and her eight chicks followed. Catbirds were everywhere! There were more Catbirds than Robins. And those Catbirds are really doin' some territory jousting.
