Earlier in the day, Jim Green thought he heard them singing but the other birds were drowning them out; by the afternoon they almost had the stage to themselves. In the morning, Jim also had Yellow-throated Warbler and Yellow-throated Vireo there; there were Redstarts, too, and Scarlet Tanager--and Yellow-crowned Night-Heron. Earlier, around Seneca, there were almost more birders than birds--but still numerous Parulas, Prothonotaries, both Waterthrushes, Common Yellowthroat, plus Green Herons, Rose-breasted Grosbeak.
