Caspian Tern: 1 on mudflats at Little Isd. Ovenbird: 1. Orchard Oriole: 2 or 3 singing males (2 of which spent part of the time on VA shore). Baltimore Oriole: 1 flew across from VA shore, folowed & chased by an Orchard Oriole, then sang. Others included: Black-crowned Night Heron 1. Osprey 1 or 2. Red-shouldered Hawk 1. Pileated Woodpecker 1. American Robin more than usual. Wood Thrush 1. Catbird 4 singles, scattered. Blue-gray Gnatcatcher 10+, scattered. Eastern Kingbird 1 (+ 1 crossing VA-DC border). Red-eyed Vireo 3+ singing. Yellow-rumped Warbler lots singing. Northern Parula 4+ singing. Brown-headed Cowbird 2 m, 1 f. House Sparrow group of 8+ foraging in treetops!
