I got out here to check the woods Bluejays Were calling And Flying Back And forth.An Eastern Towhee was singing. Then I saw a small flock of warblers in the trees Overhead all the ones i could get my field glasses on were Yellow Rumped Warblers. I Moved on Up Tilghman Neck rd to check on an Eagle That nest there. No Eagles On the Nest But 2 Adult were were flying around. on up Tilghman neck a little father . Got out ,White-eyed vireo Singing here .White throated Sparrows singing And feeding up in the trees . I noticed Yellow rumped warblers here also . But As I Looked Around a Blue-Winged warbler put in an apperance. so did Black and White Warbler, 2 Black-throated green warbler, Black-throated Blue warbler male, A Nice looking yellow palm Warbler danced around up in the trees than on the ground. Than I Spotted a vireo type bird put the bins on it and it was a Blue Headed vireo than 2 more Blue Heads pop up in the same field of view and same tree for a few seconds for a total of 3. I know I was at this spot about an hour watching these birds feed . They put in a number of apperances Each. After that i Headed On up This same Road and near the end viewed from a long distance with a spotting scope an Osprey in a nest on a silo . From Here I Turned On the road to Reed's Creek a short way up here is a recnetly cut over woodlot across a field in a tree with a broken of top is another Bald Eagle Nest with an adult sitting on eggs, it is here where a Red-tailed hawk chased an Osprey away from the tree line. After all this Excitement It was noon time I was Hungery So I wet Home for lunch. On Sunday afternoon After the heavy rain was Over The Sun Came out for a while, I heard It First Than Located Our Yard Baltimore Oriole back from his winter vacation. In A Rain puddle were Robins bathing soon to be Followed by a beeding Plumaged adult White-Crowned sparrow. Today Mon 4-29-01 1 Solitary Sandpiper And A Chipping Sparrow nest with 4 chipping sparrow eggs where located at the Wye Research Center in Queenstown.
