Highlights: Golden-winged, Kentucky, and Prothonotary Warblers, Northern Waterthrush Others: Blue-Winged, Parula, Hooded, Myrtle, Black and White, Prairie, Black-throated Blue and Black-throated Green Warblers, La Waterthrush, Ovenbird and American Redstart. The Kentucky Warbler (may have been 2) was along the trail that leads directly to the river, where they were last year. The Golden-winged, Northern Waterthrush, and Prothonotary were all just upstream from where this trail joins the river (near marker 14), along with 7 other species (10 species within a 50 meter stretch of river in about 30 minutes!). I also had my first Great-crested Flycatchers of the year along with some great looks at Scarlet Tanagers, RC Kinglets, etc. An incredible day!
