Comments: cc: voice@capaccess.org MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi MD, After learning last night that a female White-winged Crossbill had been seen the past two days at a feeder in Frostburg, I checked it out this morning (with the homeowners' permission) in hopes it would show up again. At about 7:15 (after a 1/2 hour wait), there it was. A striking bird! It returned 3 or 4 times over the next half hour allowing me to get some recognizable digiscoped shots. You can check them at http://www.hereintown.net/~rrkiddy/Kiddy.htm. Once there, click "Digiscoping". I am trying to determine whether it is OK to provide the location should anyone want to try for the bird. By the way, these are the same feeders that hosted a (the same?) female White-winged Crossbill a couple months ago as reported on MDOsprey. A new county bird is a great way to start the day! Happy trails ....
