    A Carroll County Bird Club field trip to the McKeldin Area of = Patapsco Valley State Park produced the following birds:
    Black Vulture
    Turkey Vulture
    Canada Goose - 3 broods of downy young
    Mallard
    Kingfisher
    Red-bellied, Downy, Hairy, & Pileated Woodpeckers
    Acadian Flycatcher
    Phoebe - on nest
    Crested Flycatcher
    Yellow-throated, Blue-headed, & Red-eyed Vireos
    Blue Jay
    American Crow
    Rough-winged & Barn Swallows
    Carolina Chickadee
    Titmouse
    White-breasted Nuthatch
    Carolina Wren
    Gnatcatcher
    Bluebird
    Wood Thrush
    Robin
    Catbird
    Tennessee Warbler - 1 heard
    Nashville Warbler - 2 heard
    Parula - female collecting nesting material + many heard
    Black-throated Blue Warbler - 1 male
    Yellow-rumped Warbler - 10
    Black-throated Green Warbler - 6
    Blackburnian Warbler - 2
    Yellow-throated Warbler - 3 (a pair + another heard singing)
    Cerulean Warbler - female collecting nesting material + heard 2 = singing
    Black-&-white Warbler - 4
    Worm-eating Warbler - 4 heard only
    Ovenbird - 3
    Louisiana Waterthrush - 7
    Yellowthroat - 1
    Scarlet Tanager
    Towhee
    Chipping Sparrow
    Swamp Sparrow - 2
    White-throated Sparrow - 12
    Cardinal
    Cowbird
    Goldfinch
