After laying three eggs (that I saw) the bird has apparently abandoned the nest. Yesterday there were two eggs remaining. Does not appear to be a successful nesting attempt. Query: Does this count as breeding? Suppose it was an unexpected species in this area-example Mississippi kite. My impression from reading and instruction session at our meeting is that this would count as breeding and coded as nest with eggs. Am I correct?
