The arm is mending, but I haven't done much birding. But this week, the warblers have been coming to me. Monday, AM , Black-throated green heard outside my house on the way to work. Tuesday AM, a great yard bird day, 20-25 warblers in front of the house from 7:30- 8 am. Yellow-rump-- approx. 8 Magnolia-- 3+ Yellow-- 1 Black-throated blue-- 3 Canada-1 Redstart-- 1 Blackburnian-- 1 Blackpoll-- 2 Weds. AM, not as good as yesterday, but a few new species, 7:30 8 AM Yellow-rump-- 8+ Magnolia-- 1 Black-throated blue-- 2 Blackpoll-- 1 N. Parula-- 1 Chestnut-sided-- 1 also Scarlet Tanager-- 1 All this activity in half a dozen mature trees (mostly oaks) across the street from my house in the Stoneleigh neighborhood of Baltimore County.
