Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed This morning I was serenaded by an unfamiliar thrush as I sat on my back deck at 6am. My notes say "downward spiral.metallic. Comes in bits" (That last comment means it wasn't a continuous flow)."Call note 'wheer!'" Now I have been listening to all my records and tapes, mostly old. More Birding By EAr compares Bicknells to Swainsons. (It was NOT Swainson's.) The Bicknell's song sounds right! I want to compare Gray-cheeked but my other refs are older than the species split........ Is there any site on the web where I could listen to a comparison?
