It was a fabulous morning with 87 species counted. The highlights were singing LINCOLN'S SPARROW by the river, and a single GRASSHOPPER and duo of SAVANNAHS in the Clegg memorial meadow. An OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER was exciting perched in a dead tree. 25 BLACK-THROATED BLUES were our most numerous warblers. A big push of SWAINSON'S THRUSHES must have come through also, 25-30 of them!
