It = was very quiet, until I got near the river. I caught a short glimpse of = the SUMMER TANAGER I have heard the last two days. To reach this spot, g= o down the trail to the right of sign post #1, as you descend towards the= river there will be two separated markers in the middle of the trail sep= arated by a hundred yards. This is the area where the bird has been. Do= wn along the river I had a LINCOLN'S SPARROW, heard a YELLOW-BILLED CUCKO= O, and in an area that had a good number of feeding VEERY, SWANSON'S THRU= SH, OVENBIRD, and NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH, there was a GRAY-CHEECKED THRUSH.= Only five species of warbler, thrushes seemed to be every where though.
