I was along the Patuxent, just below Governors Bridge and pished up some chickadees and a titmouse. Within five minutes the follwing warblers came to investigate- 1) Wilson's, 2) Yellow-rumped[4], 3) B&W, 4)BT Blue, 5)Magnolia[2], 6) Prothonotary, 7)BT Green[2], 8) Redstart [at least 3], 9) LA Waterthrush, 10) Chestnut-sidied, 11)Canada, 12) Common Yellowthroat[2 males, 1 female], 13)Parula[2], and 14) Blackpoll. Along this stretch of river, also had Yellow-throated, Blue-winged, Hooded and Worm-eating. The total for the day was 26 species, including 7 Wilson's, which may be as many as I have ever seen before, in total.
