If you have any measlworms, you can feed them the worms. I have about 4,000 here now if you need any. Mike C. will tell you where the rehabbers are. If you observe the box for an hour you will know if they are being fed. The BBs I have observed usually feed their young about every half hour or so. This is why the young are big and fat when they fledge. The male will often take over feeding the young in the event of the female's demise. The parents feed the young regularly throughout the day and until sundown. Was the skull intact? The House Sparrows get ont he back of the Bluebird and rip the skull back and peck the brains. Sometimes this is not terribly noticable at first look. An entire nest of young in my backyard were killed in this manner a few years back.
