Dear Fran & others, Thanks to web site vocalizations offered by Tyler Bell and others, I have decided that the thrush I heard in my backyard WAS a Bicknell's -- based upon the very 'wiry' nature of the downward spirals. HOWEVER, this is hardly documentary evidence for a bird not previously proven in Calvert County! And therefore should not go on the Comp list. (Thank you for your trust.) So: I suggest that it be noted as a 'possible'. (I may not be able to resist putting it on my yard list, however....)
