The "yellow book" as it is known is the Field List of the Birds of Maryland by Iliff, Ringler, and Stasz and published by the MD Ornithological Society. The current version is the 3rd edition published inMay 1996. For more info, go to the MOS website at www.mdbirds.org and click on the publications button at the top left of the entry screen. The yellow book is the absolutely essential tool for birders in MD and DC. And the price is unbelievably low. Best, Norm Saunders ====================== Norman C.
