In soaked cornfields along Bay Shore Road near Fairlee there were 87 Black-bellied Plovers, 5 Semipalmated Plovers, 2 Least Sandpipers, and 7 Short-billed Dowitchers. In another cornfield on Fish Hatchery Road near Great Oak Estates there were a further 9 Black-bellied Plovers, another Semi Plover, 2 Greater Yellowlegs, a Dunlin, and 10 dowitchers. Other birds of interest: a Gray-cheekd Thrush at the Old St. Paul's Cemetary on Ricaud's Branch Road, and a Cliff Swallow among the Banks, Trees and Barns on the Chesapeake Farms Auto Tour.
