I confirmed Carolina Wren and House Sparrow; ticked Black-crowned Night-Heron, Louisiana Waterthrush, and House Wren for the block; and ticked Northern Flicker, White-breasted Nuthatch, Chimney Swift, and Blue-gray Gnatcatcher for the quarterblock. Birds that I watched intently but could find no breeding behaviors for (yet!) included Great-crested Flycatcher, Warbling Vireo, Prothonotary Warbler, Baltimore Oriole, and Orchard Oriole. I'm pretty sure I found the nest of the Orchard Oriole, but the male I was watching just wouldn't act like he had anything to do with it. Other birds included: Osprey, Spotted Sandpiper, Acadian Flycatcher, Eastern Kingbird, Cedar Waxwings, Swainson's Thrush (singing), Gray-cheeked Thrush, Red-eyed Vireo, Northern Parula, Yellow Warbler, Magnolia Warbler, Blackpoll Warbler, American Redstart, Northern Waterthrush, and Common Yellowthroat.
