At least 50 commom nighthawks swirled above the many photographers = staking out the Capitol for Gary Condit's exit from a late session = tonight. =20

There have been one to two dozen the past few nights.

BTW, a precise count of large numbers of nighthawks moving in and out of = bright lights at altitudes from 50 to 400 feet isn't easy.
