Since moving to Maryland, I have heard one -- and that one at Cape May -- in many years. We just moved to Frederick (Monrovia) and, to my surprise, I heard one in my back yard while I was lunching today (yes, eating late if you look at the time stamp). We went out on the deck, and there he was sitting in a tree about 100 feet away.
