I had three late Canada Warblers but the nesting species = were: Northern Parula Pine Prairie Black & White Wormeating Ovenbird Louisiana Waterthrush Kentucky Common Yellowthroat Hooded (trash birds) Yellow-breasted Chat =20 I also had several Summer Tanagers and singing Eastern Meadowlark. Confirmed nestings were: Eastern Phoebe (a recent hatching) Purple Martin - a colony Tufted Titmouse (I took a young bird off the road and gave it back to = the parents.) Common Grackle - dead young bird on the side of the road. Outside the block I had a family of Wood Duck at Ward Run on Route 6 and = an active Red-bellied Woodpecker nest at Purse's State Park south of = Liverpool Point Road. I also had what is probably an active Red-headed = Woodpecker nest at the same location. Prothonotary Warblers were = singing at several locations on RT. 224 south of Liverpool Point Rd. as = well as Great-crested Flycatcher. Tree Swallow were also setting up = nest sites. Enjoy your atlasing.
