I unsuccessfully tried to persuade them that the Common Moorhen dozing in the middle of the largest impoundment was a lot more interesting than the Wood Duck families. Other than that it was fairly quiet. As an aside, when I was living in the DC area in the mid-90s Hughes Hollow used to be (at least as far as I can recall) a very dependable spot for Willow Flycatcher from mid-May onwards but I have not seen one there yet. Are they less regular at this site than they used to be? Regards Clive Harris Cabin John, Md __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
