I know this is non-MDOSPREY territory, but bear with me: I have seen several banded warblers here in years past (it is possible to see almost all of the eastern warblers in the Northeast Kingdom at this time of year!!!) and I will be trying to determine band colors, etc. My question is thus: Is there anyone who has banded birds in the DC area and if so, is there a quick color-code to identify warblers banded during spring migration from the Mid-Atlantic stations? Any help on this would be rewarded with a jug of Grade A Amber Pure Vermont Maple Syrup from a local farm (hey bribery has worked for me in the past LOL!!). ********************** Frank Boyle ravenfrank@earthlink.net Burlington, VT (for now) ********************** ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
