Cheers, Kathy Laurel MD Balduin Fischer cc: Sent by: Maryland Subject: [MDOSPREY] Curlew Sandpiper in VA Birds & Birding 05/29/02 04:08 PM Please respond to Maryland Birds & Birding Hi MDOsprey, Had a male-type CURLEW SANDPIPER at Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge last Saturday. I found the bird at the northwest end of the Snow Goose Pool around noon. I had had good views for 15 minutes before it took off and landed far away. I could not find the bird later on Saturday and on Sunday morning. Do Curlew Sandpipers need a review in VA? I would appreciate any help and apologise the late posting. Trying to find the Curlew Sandpiper again on Sunday, I found a banded Semipalmated Sandpiper with colored rings. Where am I supposed to mail the data to? I would appreciate any help and apologize the late posting.
