The Loon was with the two Common Loons on the far = shore, but swam back over to the beach area near the tire playground. = Great views with scope and binoculars, at one point the loon came within = ten yards from my location. For those interested, the park gates open at = 8:00AM tomorrow. Great photos Dave, thanks for confirming the identity. I do not have = much experience with the first year loons plumages. Not onto reading the = loon chapter in advanced birding book did I feel better about the ID.
