MIME-version: 1.0 Content-type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT There's a visitor at my workplace from Australia who is an ardent birder (Ken Freeman, for those of you who have met him during past trips). He's here till June 21. We plan to go on the weekend BBC field trips, and visit some local parks on weekday mornings. (BTW, he was at the Jones Falls trip last Sunday and had a great time!) He's been to the US several times and has seen most of the more common birds. I'd like to find him some of the less-common birds he's never seen before. Does anyone have suggestions for trips within 1-2 hours from Baltimore City that has specialties and would make a good weekend morning-to-afternoon trip? BTW, what's Blackwater NWR like in June for birds (and flies!)? thanks, Shireen P.S. Keith, pressure's on. Find that Summer Tanager for Ken! :-) -- Shireen Gonzaga Baltimore whimbrel@comcast.net ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
