I feel it is the best design on the market. I have three and they have constant use. I even run mine through the dishwasher. However, house finches could drink from them so you may want to look at the little Opus feeder that is shaped like an egg. Last year there were problems with it falling apart but they have redesigned it this year. Make sure if you get one that it made from a single piece of glass. I personally dislike all the perky pet feeders. They are very hard to clean and always need a replacement piece of one type or another.
