Wild Bird Center also sells industrial-grade canopies for hummer feeders that are heavy steel, with a built-in ant cup - they are totally awesome!!!! Both of those should discourage those pesky finches. ********************** Frank Boyle (back now :( ) Laurel, MD ravenfrank@earthlink.net ********************** -----Original Message----- From: Maryland Birds & Birding [mailto:MDOSPREY@HOME.EASE.LSOFT.COM] On Behalf Of Parke H John Sent: Tuesday, June 11, 2002 1:44 PM To: MDOSPREY@HOME.EASE.LSOFT.COM Subject: [MDOSPREY] Hummer question. I've been having a problem with House Finches dominating my hummingbird feeder. I use the "Perky Pet" brand and use insect guards which seemed to work last year, but not this year. Any suggestions?
