Volunteer bluebird trail monitors are needed for two Montgomery County park areas: Little Bennett Regional Park in Clarksburg (6 boxes near maintenance yard), and Camp Seneca Park on Clopper Rd near Boyds (4 boxes in field behind Seneca Lodge). Previous long-time monitors are unable to continue out the season which generally ends in August. Weekly visits to check boxes and record data are required. Many boxes currently have bluebirds nesting in them. Both areas are mowed and boxes are either new or well-maintained. Interested individuals, families, teams, etc, should contact Denise Gibbs at Black Hill Visitor Center at 301 916-0220 as soon as possible. Thanks!
