I have been working this one area every week and found 3 birds today that have been absent for quite some time. A single SWAMP SPARROW chipping (sang a partial song once). A flyover SAVANNAH that could not be relocated and a male BOBOLINK singing as he flew over. Just when I thought I had pinned down everything in this quarter block 3 new birds within safe dates! The NORTHERN ROUGH WINGS have fledged (Sibley illustrates the cinnamon on the wings wonderfully.)
