I had never realized this species was using roof tops as nesting sites until I saw one on the US Post Office roof on Kent Narrows. I thought it was some kind of aberration! I'm glad that some species, at least, are able to make accommodations to the destruction of their natural habitat by humans. I'm sure you must be aware of this colony on Kent Narrows, but I was thrilled to see it about a month ago. You must have an incredibly interesting job. Good luck on locating waterbird colonies this season!
