The bird was first observed soaring over the foundations of the old Cedar Point Lighthouse a little before noon, heading up the Bay in a northeasterly direction. It was observed about an hour and a half later, landing on the water (in the company of several Brown Pelicans) just offshore from the Pax River Officer's Club golf course driving range.
