Young birds everywhere in the town of Queenstown. Male cardinal Chasing Off It youngsters . young newly fledged begging grackles, I Found a mulberry Tree near the Town Boat dock wtth some bird action robins, House finch ,grackles.and on first sight passed it off as a female Red winged blackbird after it and i both found a Good Viewing position. Nope it Was Too Large For a Redwing. But do To Good And lenghly looks at the bird it was a female or young ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK. It Looked to me to Be A Young male with the pink breast spot faintly visable under the streaking. Marshall, Jim ,Phil.Glenn or anyone are the there any Nesting records For Rose-breasted Grosbeak on the eastern shore Queen Annes Co or anywhere .I thought they just went through on migration. Its Too Late For Sping unless Very Late or too too early for fall Or Any None Breeding Summer records. This bird While In My View Just Munched Mulberrys.
