MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Assateague Island National Seashore has a large ORV zone, which presents some excellent birding locations (Hungerford flats, Fox Hills Levels, Green Run, etc.). This time of year, it will be very buggy. If you go, please keep records of an atlas birds and send them to me. Contact the AINS at 410-641-3030 for specifics. You need a permit (about $75), tow rope, shovel, board, etc. There is also an ORV trail associated with the Pocomoke State Forest/Park (on the east side of Route 113, opposite the Shad Landing enterance of the Park). Check the Maryland DNR web-site for more details and numbers (www.dnr.state.md.us). This trails goes through mixed forest, with Summer Tanagers, etc. Mark Hoffman Mhoff36100@aol.com In a message dated 6/28/02 5:55:47 AM Eastern Daylight Time, hoffmany@WORLDNET.ATT.NET writes: > I wonder if there is any beach access in or near Ocean City for my > Tahoe?
