I will access the area from McBride Lane although I am not sure where to put a car. There is a beaver pond there--or at least it used to be a beaver pond. Last time I looked it did not look like any recent beaver activity. To get there , go out Robinson Rd to Balsam and turn right on Balsam. When Balsam ends, just go as straight as possible over a small rise and there is a group of new houses (used to be a wonderful birdy field), continue on and the road goes right across the pond. Part of the road is only one car wide, but not marked one way. You just have to cooperate or back up when a car approaches. This is a part of the area I have been doing for Christmas count for several years.
