Cliff Swallow update:
Yesterday, Hal & I checked some bridges & found the activity and number of birds at Brookview to be much reduced - perhaps only 1 pair left.  The bridge over the Nanticoke at Sharptown that you mentioned did have about 4 or 5 new cliff swallow nests, at least 2 of which were definitely occupied by cliff swallows!  Now confirmed for 2 blocks.  We thought we were on a roll, so we checked out the Harrison Bridge over the Marshyhope up near Hurlock and found only barn swallows....  These cliff swallows may not be successfully breeding yet, but at least they're trying.
