When you enter the park from West Old Baltimore Road (between I 270 and Rt 121), take the first right after passing the entrance kiosk. In a short distance, the road crosses the upper end of the lake. Go up the hill and into the right hand parking lot. At the far right end of the lot is a path that leads down to a stone dike. From the dike the Ibis has been seen feeding in the shallow waters to the left. It was not apparently disturbed by the several persons fishing from the dike. Thanks to Tom Dunn for finding the Ibis and to Rick Sussman for alerting me to #289 for Montgomery Co. It was also a state bird for Rick. A good time was had by all. I hope others have a chance to join the fun. Paul O'Brien Rockville, Mont.
