The Osprey nested last year, and last spring and summer had the company of Peregrines roosting with them on the bridge & wires on the bridge. Have not seen the peregrines on the bridge since May of this year. If you drive over the 14th St bridge, do not search for these birds unless you are a passenger (obligatory 21st century liability warning label). I always wonder what these Osprey, & other birds in the vicinity, think of the one night invasion and light show on July 4th.
