I'll just list the h= ighlights and keep it short. Shorebirds were showing up everywhere. Elliott Island 7/12 2 Common Moorhen 6 Lesser Yellowlegs (Here I ran into a birder who had been at Deal Island earlier in the morn= ing, he described an AMERICAN SWALLOW-TAILED KITE that had flown over his= jeep. I have seen a few hundred of the birds in different places from C= entral to South America, but never one in the states. His description wa= s good, so I desided to have a try at it. No luck though. He had also s= een four Black-necked Stilts at Deal.)
