Everytime I'm walking near the intersection of Chesapeake Ave. and York Road in Towson (about where the Towson Public Library is located), I hear a flicker calling. It's loud, but I never see it. I don't know how many times I've stood at that intersection for ages searching for that darn bird, while passer-bys gave me strange looks. I'm starting to suspect it's some kind of alarm. Or a twisted joke by someone with too much time on their hands who just sits there waiting for me to show up (Gail?) Or maybe I'm hearing (bird) voices. At the risk of making a total ass of myself, can someone please put me out of my misery and tell me what the heck is going on? thanks, shireen -- Shireen Gonzaga Baltimore whimbrel@comcast.net ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
